I accidentally added a non-working repository (one at iappcat.com). Every time I launch Cydia, it says it's downloading updates/packages from there, but it's stuck. If I cancel, I get an error message.
I'd like to get rid of this repository, but it doesn't seem to show up in the list of sources, so I don't know what to do.
I'm not trying to hijack the thread, but I am having a similar problem as well, So I would like to see if there are any solutions.
I entered a source in wrong and it continues to give me an error whenever it reloads data, or a download from cydia. It still allows me to download the file, it's just annoying. Here is what pops up:
I've now searched the Cydia.apppp folder, and couldn't find any mention of the repo there. Not sure where to look for Cydia prefs, though -- I eyeballed all the other folders on the phone, and didn't see anything that looked remotely like Cydia prefs.
Originally I posted that i had the same problem. Well after doing some searching around, I found the answer here. It took a bit of work (since it was my first time doing anything like this) but I got it to work.
Read the whole thread, as he gives more details, and I am including a link to download the plist editor program here. Good luck!
