Volume Slider Disable App

On my 2G Iphone that I have Jailbroken and Unlocked with Cydia installed, I am trying to find this particular app, as I need it since the ringer button is very sensitive and I don't want to open the phone to fix this. I am not seeing this app in my Cydia, as I have the modmyi source installed. This is the link:

How do I update Cydia to get this important app for me? I am a newbie to all this, but have found this forum invaluable so far. Thanks for your help.

Go to cydia and search volume
scroll down and ull c it

I had tried that and I do not see it. I even hit Changes to refresh, and it is not showing up. The only ones I see are Volume Slider Widget and Volume Media Settings.

Try going to cydia categories and go to utilities
then go to v Nd u mote see it

and are u on 3.0+
cause it says it's for that

I am on 3.0 firmware, but I don't see it. I looked under utilities and tried the Search function. Is there a particular source I need to add? Any other suggestions? I do appreciate your help though!

ok then install rock in cydia and then searcg for it using rock

ssh it to
var/root/media/Cydia/AutoInstall u have to make the cydia and autoinstall folders and there are case sensitive

ok no problem.
first of all, download automatic ssh in cydia and on ur computer download this.
WinSCP | Get WinSCP at SourceForge.net

ok then make sure ur connected to wifi.
then go to settings, wifi, and then click the blue arrow on it. that will show u ur IP Adress. write that down.
then open winscp. which u downloaded on ur pc. go to the sessions tab.

where it says hosts name: put ur ip address
the user name: root
password: alpine
where it says SFTP, change it to SCP.
THEN SAVE. and when it says save password, press yes.
then go to saved sessions and click it. make sure ur iphone isnt in lock mode as in slide to unlcok. and it is connected to the same wifi as ur conouter.
then click the session. it may take some time for it to connect and when it does. click update. NOW UR IPHONE AND PC ARE COMMUNICATION.
the right side of the screen is ur iphone files.
on the right side, press Media.
inside media, right click and make a new directory named Cydia (case sensitive).
inside cydia folder make a directory named AutoInstall (Case Sensitive)
put the file. that u downloaded from the mediafire in my above post in the AutoInstall folder. and reboot ur iphone twice.
then the file is installed
