    Default cydia not working

    it starts loading data and get mesg..error database,unable to parse pacage file,,/var/lib/apt/lists/apt.modmyi.com_dists_stable_main_binary-iphoneos-arm_pacages{1} click ok it continues to load and pops up same msg page comess up go to manage and select pacages and screen is blank doesent show any of my apps any help please

    Same exact thing has happened to me and I don't know how to fix this. Any help from ANYONE would be appreciated.

    Yes thanks to another thread somewhere on here and to another user. I use my iPhone to browse this forum so it's a bit restricting. Sorry I can't link to it.

    did you jailbreak with black rain???? If you did jailbreak with blackrain and you kept the blackrain icon on the springboard and you have open ssh what you are going to do is ssh into var/stash/applications delete the folder that says cydia then reinstall cydia from blackrain icon problem shall be solved except you will have a brand new cydia with no installed packages meaning you will still have all the ones you installed on spring board but will not be in cydia so like updates and stuff like wont be available for those apps however you can install new ones and you will get updates for those

    there seems to be a problem with that source - don't get nervous - modmy will have to fix this

    When you see a source error in cydia its prob bc the repo is down they normally have it fixed in a couple hours its not that serious
