    Default Completely reinstall Cydia How???

So I've had a cydia crashing issue and tried every fix I could find. Last resort got to apt-get remove cydia...
Now when I do apt-get install cydia I get this "E: Internal Error, Could not perform immediate configuration (2) on essential"

Can anybody give me a terminal step by step to get Cydia properly uninstalled and reinstalled?

    Crashing is bad!

I just did a restore, and Cydia is STILL crashing right after launch, and now of course I'm without all my Cydia apps...

    Now what?

    I'm on a 3g with 3.1.2 btw.

    thanks -

That's exactly what I ended up having to do. It sucks, but it works. If you have to do this be sure to backup first, & transfer any camera roll photos. When you set up as a new phone you lose everything...SMS, camera roll, app settings, etc.
