Default Jailbreak apps on OS 3.1 (after 3.1 jailbreak obviously)

I did a quick google search, and all I found was the post from the Big Boss site about app compatibility with 3.0. I have been wondering if anyone has seen, heard, or read anywhere about compatibility with 3.1 when there is a jailbreak available. Like any documentation of anyone seeing the filesystem and if it looks like apps will just work as is or if they might need some recoding. Hell, I don't know if that's even something that can be known without the firmware being jailbroken first, just a thought I had. I for one really hope apps compatible with 3.0 will just work on 3.1 cuz I finally got a system down for restoring phone/jailbreaking/restoring all apps and settings (app store apps only for the settings though) in like an hour, maybe hour and a half depending on if itunes locks up on me. Unfortunately I figured out the system and correct sequence about 12 hours before Apple decided to make it impossible to restore to 3.0.1. Oh well, just thought I would ask, hopefully somebody has some sort of insight.

How are you going to check compatibility with 3.1 if you can't jailbreak it yet?

    3.0 > 3.0.1 > 3.1 shouldn't have any major impact on app compatibility.

That's what I am hoping. But you never know with apple's evilness...I would hate to lose pkgbackup, appbackup, popup blocker & gv mobile...I would be all

Just updated to 3.1, JB, Unlocked, and now Winterboard crashes all the time, and my iPhone stays in safemode, People on the site appear to be having the same issues.... So my advise, Dont update until the problem is resolved.

    Default Issues!

After installing SBSettings, OpenSSH and AppSync 3.1 Cydia keeps on crashing.

Not only does Cydia crash, but SBSettings doesn't know how to reboot or power off.

Every time I select reboot or power off I lose my icons on the spring board.

Well, based on those last few replies, it sounds like a good thing that I have the ability to stay at 3.0 for now if I need to restore for any reason.

I think its SBSettings, two 2G iphones have now locked up at the apple logo needing to be restore with just SBSettings and the Activate2GMMS, my guess its the MMS but SBSettings could be also at fault.
