Cydia crash problem......
i know alot of people have posted this
but i really need help and ive tried alot of things
So i was installing pasteboardstacker
it shows history of your copy and paste
but anyways
i added the source and tried intalling it
and it didnt install.. during the instalation it crashed and shut my phone off
it automatically started and when i went to cydia..
cydia crashed
i looked for help and i tried cleaning up the cache
and that didnt work
i tried a few things on PuTTY
from winscp
and whenever i try to send a command it says "permission denied"
i dont know what else to try
other than to rejailbreak it again
but im looking to see if anyone has a solution to the PuTTY problem or maybe something else thanks
i have an iphone 3g 8gb 3.0

I think a restore and re-jailbreak is the only way to resolve.

If It's a source or app that's causing the problem, remove the it via SSH w/ WinSCP.

SSH and browse to /var/lib/dpkg/updates/ and delete the files in the update folder, and restart your phone...It works to...just did it a few minutes ago to my daughter 3G phone.

What was the last app or theme that you loaded to your phone? Remove which everyone was the last one that you installed.

Remove Cydia Sources through SSH
That should help. Remove the source you added, and if your phone still dosen't work, go into
/private/var/stash/Applications.pwn
and delete the the name of the app you tried to get.
>restart/respring

And you are who? And I should care why?
No, but I deal with this everyday, you remember what a hard time you had? What did you do?
Trying to find a corrupted file or source is a lesson in futility most times.
restoring and re-jailbreaking takes a fem minutes and much less frustration and you have a fresh phone.
