strange symbols

I updated my cydia and now I have these circles attached to my Phone, Mail and Safari icons...what are they??

i had those once on my 3g

but they dissapeared a day later

hah weirdddd i think it was something i installed in cydia

they are the backgrounder badges. they are showing you that those applications are running in the background

oic...any way to get rid of them? (besides getting rid of backgrounder all together)

Run the backgrounder icon then go into global and turn off Badge...

Press and run the backgrounder icon you will see global in there turn Badges off in there..
