Cydia opens then crashes
Im kinda new to the jailbreak scene and have followed a bunch of different things to fix my cydia crashing problem but nothing works. Through ssh i went into my phone and deleted all sources and cydia still doesnt work. What else can i do? it just stopped working randomly last night in the middle of a download and now crashes every time i open it.

rejailbreak to repair cydia. there are other ways to do it but i dont know them off the top of my head

is there any other way? cause it would take forever to download everything i have on my phone now again!?!?

no no no. just run redsn0w again. you shouldnt have to do a restore...yet......just run redsn0w and tell it to install cydia.

i rejailbroke it again and added icy this time. icy works, cydia still doesnt. i dont want icy, i want cydia. how can i get it to work?

I ran redsnow again cydia is still dead.
Looks like I might have to restore to 3.0 firmware and go from there using
iPod2,1_3.0_7A341_Restore.ipsw

Do you lose info and apps by re-installing cydia?
