Hey ppl. I jailbroke and unlocked my iPhone 2G and installed Cydia. Cydia was buggy and an update was released for it. The update will not even show up when I open Cydia though. I have been waiting for it to update for two days now. I am still on 1.02938-56. The new version (you can check your Install) is 1.02948-58. I don't even get the option to install (the essential update popup). Is anyone else having this problem. I know some are getting the update prompt and then having problems, but I can't even get the upgrade prompt.

Is there any way to install Cydia manually these days.
