I upgraded my iphone and set up everything already. All my apps are installed. Having the same problem.
So do you mean I just plug in my iphone and run redsn0w .71 or .72 (without installing Icy) and this will work? No restore? All my apps will still be there?
Thanks!

You got it.
1) plug in to USB, let itunes start to sync and either let it finish or slide to cancel.
2) turn off the phone.
3) run redsn0w and let it re-install Cydia.
When it comes back up it will have all your Appstore apps and settings, Cydia apps and settings, as well as any data you have already synced. If that is a lot of data this saves you a ton of time.
4) run Cydia and do the essential upgrades, then do any other upgrades.
The version Cydia you should get is 1.0.2948-58 (as of this posting)and if you go to manage sources, under Telephoreo Tangelo, the description should say "Distribution of Unix Software for iPhone
OS 3" make sure the 3 is there.
