Please Help. Cydia and SB setting issues.

theres a slight problem...after I updated to 3.0.and after I jailbroke it....I couldnt get the flash thing to work.(like the SB setting things...which used to work find on 2.2.1 firmware...)..and everytime I get something from cydia.I keep getting these same messages:

1. Error, sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

and another long one.(thats says like overwriting...something like this.)

wuts happening??
plz help..im freaked out right now..=[

Doesn't redsn0w work on all the iPod Touches? If so, wouldn't it be easier to just JB it using redsn0w, rather than using a custom FW?
