OK, so I go into Cydia to install this first off. It's my high priority item on my phone. It says it's incompatible with 3.0 and can't be downloaded. I go into Icy, it lets me install it, it works just fine.

Now here is my problem. In Cydia, it says there is an "update" for Five Column Springboard, when I go to "install" the update, it just tells me its incompatible with 3.0. I just want the notification icon to go away.

maybe delete it from cydia, i just wonder how it works with icy im not too familiar with that yet but i know they work close together, id give it a shot

Five icon dock is working fine for me through cydia on a 3G 3.0

neither work for me cydia or icy keeps bunching up in left corner, WTF is that all about sauriks twitter says it works fine obviously it doesnt


you have five column springboard? i cant get it from either one, also other forums say its not working with 3.0 yet but five icon dock??? a mystery

Hi!

I installed it with ICY at first. I had the exact same problem then, until I installed/updated it on Cydia. It immediately it worked!

Try it and tell us if it did fix it for you!

not sure on what happened but i read sauriks twitter and he said something about aptbackup having a bad bug, b/c i used that after i JB and all my appstore apps disappeared and no cydia apps came back, so maybe that was the problem. so i restored and rejailbroke and everything works fine now

yes i did the same thing on mine and aptbackup failed . , also something musta been corrupted on my phone , restoring and starting over the whole process without aptbackup .

Just giving my input but it worked fine for me in cydia.

I downloaded it from Cydia and it's fine. Try removing all the icons from it and replacing them, if you haven't done so already.

Just fully restored and everything is working as explained , aptbackup is the problem , i think wen upgrading to 3.0 all the cydia apps were out of date and created problems , like with five icon dock . If anyone else is having this problem , i would restore and start over again with the jailbreak .

As I said earlier, I meant Five Column Springboard. I just want Cydia to stop telling me there is an update and then telling me I can't install it when it's already installed and working perfectly.

Yeah 5 column SB isn't compatible in 3.0 for whatever reason. Someone needs to port it.

i have the same issue. all of my icons bunch up in the left corner, too. i have tried it with a theme and without a theme.
