HELP!!!!! Phone won't boot

I just did the 3.0 JB. When I opened Cydia it said there were 8 updates. I selected to have all 8 updated. Everything was going fine, when it got to the last update (ZodTTD or something like that), the phone sort of froze on saying that it was installing. Then the screen went black. It stayed black for a while. Tried pressing the power button and the home button. Nothing. Then all of a sudden the phone turned on. Now it's hanging on the Apple logo screen. I can turn it off by holding the home and power button for a few seconds. When I turn it on, it just hangs on the Apple logo screen. I even took a 10 minute shower and came back and no change. Anyone got any ideas????

You will have to put in DFU mode and restore. Keep trying, it will work.
Good luck

Thanks. This def helped. However, iTunes won't let me use my custom firmware. It'll let me use the original 3.0 firmware. I even used pwnage tool to create another custom firmware, and still no go.

3G on Mac. Need to get my phone working so I could talk to my wife who is on the other side of the country right now so I upgraded to the regular 3.0 firmware. How do I get it to go to the 3.0 JB?
