Default Molifying Cydia to make it load faster?

uhhhhhh. cydia takes for everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr to load. Is there any way to turn off the "reloading data" popup so cydia will load faster?

You could always remove sources that you don't need OR create your own repo for private use & add sources to check for new stuff every so often

Personally, if I know I'm opening Cydia, I'll open it, set my phone down and walk away for a minute to allow everything to load.

    Cool i have the answer!!!

    i have a suggestion.
    install NoCyFresh.
the app comes in the form of a toggle for SBSettings, so when you turn on the toggle, NoCyfresh is activated and Cydia will stop refreshing. when you want to let it refresh again, turn the toggle off.

NoCyFresh upon activation disables cydia from refreshing in 3 instances
    * When you open cydia app.
    * Every time a new app is installed.
    * Every time a new source is added.
this way your cydia will run faster than before on the iPhone or iTouch.
you can do what you want to do like install a bunch of things and then when you are done installing everything, just refresh once at the end rather than install item, refresh, install item, refresh, install item, refresh.
i found out about CyNoFresh here: Make Cydia run faster on the iPhone via NoCyFresh!
they have a bunch of posts about cool stuff.

hope this is the kind of thing you were looking for. :P
