SSH + Cydia
Hi,
Anyone know if you can successfully add Cydia via SSH & get it to show up on spring board?
I have SSH it into the applications folder (permissions are at 755) but no icon.
Any idea's or suggestions would be greatfull.iPhone 4 | iMac 24" | MacBook Pro 15" | ATV | iPod Classic | Time Capsule | iPad 16 Gb |

Cydia is more than a simple app - it is also a subsystem of utilities and binaries needed to run many aspects of the app, and a jailbreak environment good for useful apps. Your best bet is to install Cydia through a jailbreak method.

Thats what i ended up doing in the end, thought it may of been a bit more complex than just dropping it in the apps folder.
Cheers for the reply pf.iPhone 4 | iMac 24" | MacBook Pro 15" | ATV | iPod Classic | Time Capsule | iPad 16 Gb |
