Cydia is not working in my iPhone 2G
|
Hi and Happy New Year to everybody.
I was unstalling some ringtones using Cydia, then it suddendly exit. When I try to run Cydia, it keeps saying "Repairing" with a black screen. I let it for about 30 minutets, but at the end I have to reboot the iPhone.
I did something I found searching this forum:
"Do you have mobile terminal installed?
if you do, open it, type su then enter, password is alpine, then type "apt-get remove cydia" (without quotes) once that's finished type "apt-get install cydia" (again without quotes) I had a similar problem & fixed it like that.
Hope this helped. & happy new year btw."
When I type "apt-get remove cydia" (without quotes), I get the following message:
E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run "dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem."
I don't undertand the instructions provided by mobile terminal in order to correct the problem. Could somebody help me please? Thanks.
