Default Don't update database on startup

    Hi,

The process of cydia trying to update the database on startup is annoying and RAM consuming, specially if I'm trying to install more than 1 application that require a respring each.

Is there a way to manually update the database whenever I want to from the Changes tab and completely disable the one on startup ?

    Thanks

Cydia is open source right? I'll disable this from the code myself and re-compile it then...

    Thanks

You also may contact saurik. Maybe he adds that feature to Cydia himself?
