After installing 2.2 using quickpwn(windows) i lost cydia and installer. i fear that its because i left them in the dock of sbsetting. i can access the phone through diskaid but i havent the faintest clue what to do

i had the same problem

go into settings/general/restrictions enable restrictions

now go back in and disable restrictions

press home and tell me if that worked
