New Cydia needed? Hmmm....

So, I am on a 2.2 2G iphone JAILBROKEN (Russians figured it out through an older version of Quickpwn.)

There is a problem though... You can't get past the user type selection on Cydia. At this point once you select something it just closes to springboard, does this mean we're going to need a new version of Cydia?

No, not a new version necessarily, it's just going to need to be tweaked a little as per usual, I believe.

I figured as much since it was partially working, I really like how 2.2 runs, seems as if it has a slight performance boost and I like the new maps features. I have gone back to 2.1 though, i'll definately be excited when the 2.2 dev team quickpwn is released.

I updated to 2.2 last night and jailbroke via quickpwn for windows. Cydia has being working perfectly fine on my iPhone 3G 2.2. I have not encounter any problems with Cydia or the 2.2 FW. In fact, I have noticed that the phone is a bit more responsive.
