Everytime I start the application up, it crashes right back to the home screen. I have tried modifying permissions (to 0777 and 0775), respringing the board multiple times, and I even reformatted back to stock and re-JBd and the only thing I had installed was Customize.

The reason I am looking to do this is to modify the system strings because manually SSHing doesn't seem to work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wish i could help, but i have the same problem with customize. If you find a solution please post.

I have posted in multiple forums and noone seems to be able to fix it.

Do you have trouble with caller id?

just checking if it was a similar "whole" problem.

When i had this issue it was when customize would actually check your serial number with thier system and if it didnt match...you lose. dont know what to tell you for now. i dont even use it anymore.

Spicy Chicken (the developer) has abandoned the project and his servers have been down for months now. Even if you got it to run the ONLY functionality it would have is to change your text strings. Just move on

well on a last note there is that SIUD LIB FIX in cydia that use to fix the issue. maybe give that a shot?????

You mean SUID LIB FIX??? I haven't seen that since the old days of 113 & 114.
