Having some problems
Hey, i'm having some problems
Backstory: I just updated my jailbroken 2.01 iphone to 2.1 and then jailbroke the 2.1 firmware using QuickPwn. mac OS X 10.4.11. Newest version of Itunes.
After the jailbreaking process is complete I launch Cydia and I get a screen that says it is Relocating and it has a spinning wheel. I just let it do its thing, but after about 15 minutes of it just being like that i get pissed off and my iphone goes into recovery mode so I start the process over. I've done this at least 10 times over the last couple days.
Also when restoring to 2.1 in itunes i frequently get the error(6) {i know a way around it} -- if that is related at all

sounds to me like your permissions werent done correctly. i dont use the mac version of quickpwn but when using the windows version i recieved the SAME issue when i installed a custom boot logo. i just did another restore and then tried again starting cydia FIRST and it seemed to work ok
....also i set it up as a new device as well on restore. Let me know if this helps at allThe beatings will continue until morale improves.

thanks for the quick responce. I restored it and jailbroke again. and the way i understood your advice [open cydia before setting it up in itunes] and it works now. [I had to select my user settings like 10 times before it accepted it]
I force quit itunes helper whether it helped or was a coincidence idk. but anyways its all good thanks for the help.
ALSO: Forgot to mention that it did do the "reorganizing" thing in cydia but i plugged it into a computer midway and it "synced" therefore closing cydia..
