Package updates in Cydia???
When is the last time you saw an update to packages within Cydia? I check everyday for new stuff and updates but I have not seen anything new for like 5 days. This seems odd to me. Usually there is at least an update every day or so. Just wanted to see if there is something wrong with my install.

try going to changes->Refresh I know when you load it at first it says updating and all this other stuff, but for somereason it does not download the new packages. For me it works to go to the changes tab and hitting refresh at the top.

Maybe your sources are messed up, I see plenty of new updates and new packages a couple times a day. I just open cydia and it refreshes itself

I'm wondering if there is something wrong with the sources. It was working fine and then just stopped updating.
I just tried hitting refresh in the changes tab and at first I got an error but then I tried hitting it again and it worked. Hmmm...something fishy. LOLLast edited by dirtybird1977; 11-12-2008 at 08:47 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Mine seem to be working. I have several updates from today already.

I'm having the same issue. Cydia doesn't show any new packages for me after 11/09, Sunday, mid morning.
Updated:
No idea if this is relevant or not, but my updates started flowing again when I removed the last repository that I had added.
I tried a couple things, to no avail, including: reboot phone, change wifi connection, try using edge, use cydia to "reinstall" cydia, user dir fix from boss prefs.
Finally, I removed the "steffwiz" source I installed and the updates immediately started downloading.
Coincidence? I have no idea. Hope this helps, at least with troubleshooting if nothing else.

Cydia for me has been acting very crazy. Frequent crashes...it has issues updating...network errors. It is becoming frustrating.
