How to stop certain upgrades showing?
Is there a way to stop upgrades showing in the list if you dont want to upgrade? Or do I have to see the number by the cydia button all the time?

Restart your iPhone and Don't open cydia. The upgrade notice will go away until you open cydia again.

why dont you just update
that way you fix many things and dont have to worry about the badge returning.
Being an i can be a lot of pressure. you have to live right up to the small point.
