ok my Cydia keeps on giving me a error message saying unknown posix http unable to load and then when I get the cydia homepage and go to download apps it tells me unable to find http source can't download error. So I don't know what happened I didn't install anything and when I go to recent apps that I installed it tells me that I didn't update sine sept 29 but how can I update if I keep on getting unknown posix error ? I have 2.1 firmware and I used quickpawn for windows to unlock the phone. So what can I do to correct this problem or try to fix ? Thanks

Does your data connection work... can you browse safari? If so then I would quickpwn AGAIN to re-install cydia.

I had the same error when starting cydia, but its gone now. I assumed it had something to do with the cydia server, or one of the sources when they were loading.

yeah my safari works youtube maps weather just the cydia don't work

... i have the same prob as hondaiphone and i re pwn'd my itouch, i did not restore though, but it didnt fix it. i am pretty newby to jailbreaking, but i have done it 1ce before with ziphone and it worked perfectly (no cydia) but when 2.1 came out i went apple all the way, but now that i quick pwned my itouch it dosnt work as nicely as it used to... so i guess what i am asking is do i need to restore then pwn agian or just pwn. ty!


p.s. is orblive on cydia or installer 4.0? if so where source?

Been using Cydia for while now and no problem however last night got the message "encountered a section with no package: header"

Has anyone else had this or know how to fix?
