Cydia Unable to Load

I know that there are similar topic to this one, however I am getting a different error message than those topics.
When I load up Cydia, I get a Network Error. In the main body of the screen it says 'Unable To Load (Can't Find Host)'
I have a full WiFi connection and every other network application works fine, so what's up and how do I fix it?

could be several things.
Repo's servers are down.
Your network is weak or down.
Your phone is lagging..hence timed-out.
It happened to me a few times...try rebooting the phone and get back in Cydia. or wait til tomorrow and try it again.

Can't see it being any of those problems as Safari, App Store and every other network application still work fine
I tried powering off then starting back up and it still won't work.

I don't know it it's the repositories being down as I can't even load the Home page of Cydia.

Cydia is down. I cant get in neither.
At least now we know it's not your phone's network prob.

It'll be back up tomorrow, I'm sure. It had happened before. Saurik prolly shutting it down for maintainance.

ha ha i just upgraded to 2.1 and to my surprise cydia didnt work! i thought something had gone wrong. few!

yeah im getting that message too even though i can download apps....btw if anyone can get in touch with saurik that wen u dl 5 icon dock with any of the hebrew packages{iphonehe.co.il, hebrew localization, hebrew keyboard, it causes the iphone to crash

Cydia works. It's just the main page that won't load for some odd reason. All my sources refreshed and I found an update for Netatalk, which downloaded just fine, meaning Sauriks servers aren't down.

Cydia is not down. The home page is not displaying. That's all. You can still download apps of Cydia's servers.

Agreed,main page is giving errors, but i just downloaded updates as well..

Damn. Looks like Apple have finally paid off some Russian hackers to bring down Cydia. Well, it was good while it lasted.

odd i get same error with cydia but can still download stuff and updates,this has happend before i guess its just maintnence or something i also seem to have trouble with installer though! preety much exact thing,any ideas ??hmm maybe redcard is right? is it realy over!!.........................................

Same here, got that cache error trying to download Winterboard aswell.

I managed to get winterboard ok, vwallpaper did nt work though but now its just "unable to load page"...
