can anyone help i have a iphone 3g runing cydia but when i but a new theme on it the wallpaper behind the icons doesnot work is there a setting
to turn this on

from my limited understanding this is caused because summerbosrd is needed to make this work.

You need to use Winterboard if you want the backgrounds.

It is called Summerboard but iPhones with 2.0 firmware cannot use it because it has not been rewritten to work with it yet. You have to have a phone with 1.1.4 FW or earlier.

no it's a theme...summerboard is a program...I know summerboard has a switch to put wallpaper in bg...there's a theme that just has that...just default iPhone theme with wallpaper ah ha I remembered the name! Revolver!! Where can I find revolver people!! It will probably work with winterboard

You need to jailbreak your phone. Do a search for "WinPwn"
