Cydia Packages - Telesphoreo Packages
Ok, can anyone explain if it is necessary to install the packages that show up in Cydia that are from the Telesphoreo source? Some of them are very large, while others are quite small but on Saurik's website he does not explain what they are or what they do. The apps include:
adv-cmds
apt
arm floating point
base structure
berkeley db
bourne again shell
core utilities
darwin tools
debian packager
gawk
gettext
gnu privacy guard
grep
gzip
inetutils
less
libpcap
libresolv
libutil
libxml2
network-cmds
new curses
openssl
pcre
readline
sed
shell-cmds
sqlite v3
system-cmds
tape archive
unzip
zip
That is 33 Apps that have very little to do with the iPhone that I could find. So what is the point? Has anyone updated these??? What is the benefit or downside???

Most of them are developer tools. Use them if you can

Is there any possible way to delete any of these packages?
I think SED is the package that is affecting my iPhone to constantly go into Safe Mode. But i have no way of deleting it. I have tried to search for it through Cydia--no luck, I have tried finding the file to delete it on iPhone Explorer--it's like finding a needle in the haystack.
At this rate I feel like I am going to be on Safe Mode until I upgrade to iPhone4 (patiently waiting for the white one to come out).
I hope someone has an idea... been looking constantly online for the last few days now
