Well, it's not that bad depending on where your location is cause sometimes i get better edge at some places. Anyway, it's not too bad. Where else can you get a phone that has the amazing browser that iPhone provides??

Coming from having a Windows Mobile phone, I have used browsers not only faster than Safari, but just as productive and finger friendly.

And it isnt that bad, but switching from 3G down at first is a little shocking.

I've gotten an average speed of 140kb/s on edge. It's not completely terrible and there is wifi just about everywhere around Boston.

Yeah the wifi is pretty damn fast, loads good.

Having edge is like having a wife. You try to get it going and it just sits there slowly getting to where you want after a long wait, several re-tries, and a lot of frustration. If you want to stop what you're doing and try something else you'll have to start the process all over again.

edge is slow, but it isnt THAT slow. its only natural for a phone with extreme browser capabilities
