I heard my teacher say this a few years ago. I also saw this in a documentary. They plan on doing a few things b4 they fo that. They ultimately plan on doing this so humans can live on Mars like how we live on Earth nowadays.

Just remember we ridicule that idea now, but im sure our grandparents, and great grandparents though that getting to the moon was impossible.
