16gb iphone and toilets believe it or not dont work out so well. here goes i went to take a crap today and when i went to go pull up my pants my iphone case caught the edge of the toilet and fell into the poop. I couldnt believe what i did next (keep in mind im the biggest germophobe on the damn planet) yes i reached into the unflushed toilet and grabbed that sucker thinking that it would be ok if i just hurried and wiped it off. i was not concerned with the disgusting residue on it. all i cared about was my baby that i just bought a week ago and had shipped to italy. needless to say it started fading and eventually died with no ability to even dfu mode it. heres to the memory.

R.I.P 16gb iphone you lived a short life.

thank god that i never sold my 8gb.lol

the phone might not be fully dead
if it was me i would be putting the phone into a big bowl of uncooked rice
yes i said uncooked rice
the rice will draw the moisture out of the phone
just keep the phone in there for a few days and theres a good chance the phone will come back to life
its not like the phone is going to be full of **** its just water
try the rice it could work for u

oo yeah. Reminds me of my old Nokia. I accidently left it in my pants and my mom washed it. I didnt use it for a few days and it came back

I never take my iPhone to the bathroom with me. On the rare occasion I do, I hold it out far away from the toilet with my ninja-like grip so it doesn't even have the chance to fall in the water. Sorry to hear about your loss. I send my condolences
