It's sad that most of the time people don't even try to help properly but just tell people to restore, which is not even needed in most cases..

If Installer is not downloading properly, try clearing your queue.

EDIT: Also refresh your community sources and update them if you haven't.

He never said the name of the app he had trouble with . We can only assume that it was Installer.app. With the information we have, the only real help we could give him is to restore.

Or you could actually NOT help him at all at this point, considering you can't even pin point the exact problem.

Restoring should really only be used when a lot of people have looked at the problem and nothing concrete is appearing to help the cause.
