Wouldn't be boring if you were making a chunk of change from doing it. I like to listen to the Electrical/Electronics Engineering semesters to see if they change anything year to year since I am an EE. If you design things you like and enjoy (and it pays like a mother....) You'll find it interesting

It took an EE to make the iPhone, this guy listened to the same "boring" lectures and I assure you he loves his job. (and the pay!)

Find an interest and run with it.

I find it odd that all you iPhone hacking nerds (raises hand) don't want to listen to the software engineering lectures. There is a LOT of good info in there that pertains to things used here.
