Whats so old about it?. It was only posted about 2 weeks ago. Heath_rox is right, this forum has way too many spammers.
On the subject, an individual here in canada stole 67 32gb iPod touch's until the person was caught. They said a few was stolen every week since the 32gb launch. Don't these places do inventory?

I know!? I mean they should notice something when like 5 go missing or something. If these people were smart, they'd change what was counted and what came in. This way they can steal like 30 out of 100 but the inventory would say 70 came in, and 70 are still there.

And to think if they just wouldve stayed with about 100ish, they wouldnt have even gotten in trouble since it took a couple hundred for them to actually get in trouble...

how did AT&T get owned? the guys got caught, so they got owned >_>
Plus it would have been apple who got owned... and to own them you need to steal like 5 of everything they got.

Basically stealing is stealing. Wheather your stealing from an individual or a big faceless corporation. The difference between stealing 10 iPhones and somewhere close to 700 iPhones is alot.
For instance, 10 X $499 = less then $5000, which makes it Theft Under $5000. Basically means little jail time, a fine. All and all a slap on the wrist.
Stealing more then 200 iPhones = nearly $100000
Which means severe fines, prison time (probably 5-15Years).
Alot of you are thinking that this isn't that big of a crime, but these guys are going away for along time. Those iPhones they stole have a very high street value, close to half a million dollars or more. And when they get out of prison, Apple and At&T will have large fines for them.
Stealing even something small can come back and bite you in the *** later. The short term gain you will get from it is just not worth it in the long run.
Thats my two cents!
