PSP is really good. 100 time better than the DS. It has a camera and radio... Well you have to but the cam seperately and the radio isn't AM/FM... but still. It also can be hacked to play downloaded PSP games, PS1 games, Snes, N64, Gameboy (adv), Google maps, GPS, and so much more. DS can be hacked but not like the PSP..

If I ever helped you or made a comment you like, press the "thanks" button!

Umm I like NDS's control method (like the iphone in sometimes)
I only like PSP's screen (made by SHARP - perfect LCD manufacturer)

Are you telling me that the DS can do ALL that stock without connecting to the Internet ONCE?
You lie.
I appreciated Nintendo until they started to saturate the Market with all their Mario crap; every week it's a new Mario game... Ugh...I feel sick.
PSP pwns DS in terms of games, software capability and flexibility. And I've used both, so

iPhone is in a different category than NDS and the PSP. The iPhone is not a dedicated gaming device- the NDS and the PSP are. I like the PSP plenty, but it didn't seem very innovative in terms of control of the game. Then again, the NDS only adds a second screen, and touch controls to the experience. It's a matter of preference; If one likes cartoon-y games, then the NDS is what you'd like. The PSP is for someone who wants awesome graphics, and a widescreen.
Not a very good comparison thread...And it will be like a taco inside a taco within a Taco Bell that's inside a KFC that's within a mall that's inside your dream! Springboard screwy after reboot? Here is the fix

Two different calibers.
What will YOU buy?!
A good PSP game:

Tekken Dark Resurrection, already a top rated Beat 'em' up, ported to PSP
or.. A "good" DS game:

Nintendogs.... um... *CENSORED*
This is a tough choice...

Hmm thatz a hard one a mindless button masher and a port (that one of the reasons I dislike the psp it literly a playststion PORT-able) or a inovative game that cahnged the way we look at games. U can actually interact with the dogs e.g call them, pat them, feed em. I think il chose the nintendogs. Il just go over here and tech my dog a new trick by VOICE and you can go over there and mash some buttons.
P.S I own booth these games
also look how many copies of booth of these games have sold there's a big diference u can find it on wikipediaLast edited by heath_rox; 03-26-2008 at 08:06 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

I'd hate to play a game involving a mic anywhere in public; might look like a fool. But to be fair, the instant I pull the console out of my pocket and they see "DS" on the back of the case, I'll look like an idiot anyway.
Come and play me and see that the only thing that will get mashed is your dignity!
Don't get too serious, btw, I'm having a laugh

The DS has some of the best RPG's to just pick up and kick around every once in a while (the PSP has nothing on a stylus-control RPG game like the latest FF), and some really fun touch-games (Elite Beat Agents, anyone?). It also has a pretty laid back approach to gaming, with most games having a sleep function. You don't even have to turn a game off anymore. Need a break? Close the lid, DS goes into sleep mode until you open it again and you're back right where you left off.
I won't deny your point that the PSP is more graphic and action oriented (they did an AMAZING job with the God of War PSP game), but both consoles have a very different approach to mobile gaming and comparing them only lets the world know why one you are a fanboy of. The PSP is also more of a media video/movie/music player too.
And back on the topic, I don't even think its fair to throw the iPhone against these two. The lack of proper controls automatically limit the gaming capabilities of it (and no, don't bring up the emulators because either the idea of actual controller buttons on the screen you're also playing with is a bit silly imo + 3rd-party apps are not allowed to access the serial port meaning there can't be a controller add-on), the heavy price tag compared to the DS/PSP also limits the userbase (the people buying an iPhone/Touch are not buying it for the games), plus the iPhone is really the first one to open up the market for mobile phone games that simply don't suck, but I don't see many companies going for it at this time. Maybe in a year or two once the platform opens and Apple shows that there is a market for it (through the App store).
One more thing:
Tekken: Dark Resurrection (PSP) - Score:7.54 Sales:1.06m
Nintendogs (DS) - Score: 7.83 Sales:17.76m
Yeah, that sure is a fail.Last edited by Happy Noodle Boy; 03-26-2008 at 08:18 AM.

Lol....My PSP's been under my cupboard for about two weeks and I can't be bothered O_o
At happy_noodle_boy, of course a more expensive console is going to sell less; Supply and demand.
And before anyone assumes, I do NOT nor intend to own a PS3, nor do I support the PS3 movement.Last edited by dale1v; 03-26-2008 at 08:31 AM.
