I found this a couple days ago and it's awesome.
ANd today I finalised my registration by associating my Apple ID with my iTunes account.

i tried the first method it says that the offer associated with that song code has expired
in the second method the payment option there is none
i must enter valid credit card

hm... i just did this again 2 days ago and it worked... mina try again, rly shouldnt be expired!

Or you can go to itunes
search for a free app (e.g.: Facebook)
click on get app
then the windows will open saying you have to create new account or sign in, you click on create new account
and then follow the steps on creating the account (when you reach the billing select none on the credit card and thats it)

The "none" option works when trying to get a free app without having an account.

That's great as I can't get iTunes for Malta
