Well it is a fact there is a new iphone coming out in june. My friend works for apple(no not the store. it was either marketing or sales)

Ok fine, Im not sure if it is a fact ok. But she told me that they might have it. But she does work for Apple pro at sales(in cupertino)

and my uncle Steve Jobs said that he is going to release the next iPhone with a waffle maker and in a billion colors to represent the peace on earth. then after he took me to apple hq and we played the new apple game console with super duper hi def graphics and controllers that hooked up to your brains gamma waves so you can play with your mind like a mewtwo.

seriously people need to stop claiming that the next one will have all these new features because no one knows for sure outside of apple. it will most likely happen this year because sales will decline of this model and competition will be heating up so sit tight, and relax

i keep hearing these rumors about an iphone 2. there's no official word yet but i can see how excitement can start rumors. The only iphone 2 coming out in june is iphone firmware 2.0 that going to allow for 3rd party apps through apple.

Apple will probably save the next major iteration of a phone until Macworld 2009, considering that the Appstore / 2.0 announcement will still drive sales of the current iphone. Don't even mention android, the competition from future phones running android won't push apple to release something special until Jan 08 at the earliest.

It would surprise me to see a 3g phone this summer (or at least a phone with any different hardware besides HDD), unless a major handheld manufacturer announces a product beforehand.
