Default What backup software/services do you use?
So I was looking around the interwebz for a good online backup service, at a reasonable price. Of course there is Mozy and Carbonite, but Mozy has a cap on data and Carbonite only offers yearly payments. So I came across Crashplan. They offer month-to-month service as well as (multiple) yearly payments. Best of all, they have a plan that gives unlimited storage to the user. So I am paying $5.00 / month for unlimited storage space, a nice desktop client, versioning and even an iOS app. Of course if I pay for a year or three in advance it is cheaper overall. The only downside with online backup solutions is the initial backup. I basically selected my whole home folder, weighing in at like 99.99GB, and it has taken like 13 days… Apparently there servers yadda yadda, but oh well. Once the initial backup is done, daily updates/syncing will be a breeze, right? So yeah, what do you guys think? What do you use?
And it will be like a taco inside a taco within a Taco Bell that's inside a KFC that's within a mall that's inside your dream! Springboard screwy after reboot? Here is the fix

I just do local backups. Time capsule. Then every once in a while encrypted external hard drive locked in fire proof safe we have.

I used to do encrypted local (external HDD) backups, but I do not have a fire proof safe to store it in, so I decided to try the online route. ZOMG the initial backup is STILL not done. Almost two weeks now!
