Ford is doing it right, yet wrong in so many ways. Their number one selling vehicle (and the number one selling vehicle in the US) by a lot is the F-150. Their only other two cars worth a hoot are the Focus and the Fusion... and yet they still have two brands and twenty plus models. No sense.
Worse in this department is GM (they own the consistent number two--Chevy Silverado). I give them massive credit for getting into the Chinese and Korean markets though (GM now sells 2.35 million cars or so in China, ~33% more than in the US; Daewoo and Co. sold somewhere near a million), but they're still way too overlapped across their five (used to be eleven) US brands--I've honestly lost count of models.

Hello to all,
This will really depends on your budget, whats your budget should be the first question and what can you afford, I have 2 Mercedes Benz and one TL which is my daily driver and have no issues with it at all very reliable car very rare that i have to do a major repair on the TL as long as i do the normal oil changes on time the car never ask me for a major repairs, in the other hand the Mercedes do require a lot more $$$$ including oil changes and major repairs, the one in my Signature below in my favorite car i only drive it on weekends or in special occasions its also a show car, I didn't read the whole thread but if you into Europeans car i will definitely will go for a new CC since they are a nice cars I'm even thinking on trading my TL for one of those new CC's but if you want a nice a fully loaded and affordable vehicle I will go with the TL, I have everything on my TL including Navi, two tone interior with leather, sport package, I'm also done a few mods on the car to enhance a little bit. Good luck with what you decide for your new vehicle.

What do you guys think of the Pontiac G8
06-18-2011, 09:07 PM #46
Aside of the fact GM has almost shut down Pontiac 4 times in 3 years? 1st time the axed Olds instead, 2nd time the axed Saturn. 3rd times a charm

I love the way it looks and I haven't really seen anything to bad about it with reviews

I hear they are collectible, might not be a 2012 version

Lol will do.
I been watching vids and reading reviews and I don't think I can find a car in the same price range nth at as half the specs it has
Unless I get like a 2003-2004 m3 or something

If a car is cheap, there's a reason. I can't imagine buying a car from a piece of paper. I don't care if it only has 4 wheels and an engine as long as that sumbich DRIVES like a real car should drive.
It's a car, not a kitchen appliance.

^lmao, good advice.........................

I just don't see what you could learn on paper about something made to move people from one point to the other. Notably horsepower and overall size, but really "options and extras?"
Jeremy Clarkson: "When a car company stops making the car itself a better car and starts adding flappy paddle gear boxes, ten way adjustable mirrors, seats that massage your bum and try to make you forget you are IN a car driving, then they are really saying buy our kitchen appliance as we have no idea how to make a proper car".
