Graf_chokolo gets raided again
While this news may not directly pertain to Apple products, it does indirectly affect the community. This morning, graf_chokolo posted on his blog that he was once again raided by police. Graf_chokolo had previously been raided and was hit with a 1 million euro lawsuit and TRO from Sony.

I myself am an avid supporter of OtherOS and am looking forward to a release by graf_chokolo to install it on my PS3. However, this news brings doubt to all those in the PS3 scene and modding scenes alike. It is clear that Sony does not want anyone modding the PS3 and wants to make a statement to graf_chokolo, and anyone else doing something to the PS3 Son does no approve of, to stop. If Sony is allowed to continue with this, what does it mean for jailbreakers and modders around the globe?Originally Posted by graf_chokolo

SONY was at my home today again, with a new TRO against me. They took my whole equipment again and told me to stop my OtherOS project or else …. , guys. They definitely do not want OtherOS back on PS3. They want me to take down all my OtherOS and PS3 utils. Make sure to clone all my GIT repositories. I don’t think you want me to stop, guys, do you ? Tell me what you think.
I can't stress enough that we should support graf_chokolo in his decision, whatever it is he decides to do. I also recommend that we get this news out to the public. Consumers who don't mod their systems should hear what Sony is doing to people. I suggest, as it was suggested by mrgreaper on psx-scene.com, to submit this story to the BBC, or any US news company, and hope they cover it.

Seems really weird that Sony are so protective of their little child, the PS3 but then Sony Ericsson go and allow the unlocking of the bootloader on their Android phones? Weird.

Eventually, a judge will look at Sony's lawyers and ask them "Really?" This cannot continue to happen. I wonder what the actual number of people that are abusing these hacks to play all of their "backups" are; it can't be that large. Does bringing back the OtherOS feature allow for piracy? Or has this guy released Sony's proprietary code? If not, what case do they really have?
And it will be like a taco inside a taco within a Taco Bell that's inside a KFC that's within a mall that's inside your dream! Springboard screwy after reboot? Here is the fix
