im so new to iphone and modding mine and such.
how do i PAY for certain things i want from this site.
and i need help with stuff i really dont know much about.
my wife and i have an iphone both. hers is 3g mine 3gs.
i have greenpois0n and redsnow and my phone kicks ***. but hers was done by this damned kid claiming to be an iphone guru and he did it via JailbreakMe then added alot of stuff. ive tried using itunes to undo what he did and start over using a program im familiar with and one thats worked for me. ive gotten alot of stuff from modmyi that has helped like dLs and such. i want some of your PAID apps etc software.
but right now when i try to dL 99% of the time an error box pops up saying SLOW DOWN youre trying to download too fast !!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
i hate games unless im leading the show. im not an idiot when it comes to tech ****- i built the ONLY WORKING MIRC PASSPORT FLOODER on MSN Chat from 1998-2004. I AM SUBZERO. I HAVE MY SIGNATURE ON 17 MIRCs and IRCs and several other toys and tweeeeeeks like booters from Yahoo ( i built them ) and even learned quite alot about iphone just reading HERE.

how do i pay for stuff . i DIG the dark theme with the yoda and stuff.
i have atomic/reefer madness/Boned theme now. its sweet and i have sbs setting and toggles and even have gotten MY iphone to tether with my laptop even though its unstable around here (Texas DEAD Zone).
her phone wont revert back to the original phone wont let me update wont let me uninstall and even has pretty much gotten me to where (if it were an efile-) id kick the **** out of it.
so i ask the people who know- the guru's of the iphone to help me.
i dont make money fixing peoples phones. i dont fix anyone elses phones cept mine and the wifes. AT&T has a tower on my property and still we get 2 bar EDGE until t-mobile finalizes the deal and sells out and moves. AT&T only owns the tower since the bought out t-mobile. we have great t-mobile svc but i like paying at&t and since my whole family and half the mountain here has at&t we stay with them.
i have a jb where i can choose another sim and go with sprint etc.
but i stay with at&t. the dude we had help us break my wifes phone(frst phone i ever did - in Nov 10, he was from Canada and he now wants me to pay him $100 paypal to unbreak our phone).
id rather pay someone at modmyi to show me or tell me or just lead me oh great ones to how i can revert her 3G back to its original state and let me rebreak.
she has Version 4.0 8A293 / Carrier AT&T 7.0 / Model MB702LL / Modem 05.13.04 / 6.9GB capacity (3.3GB available) id say its loaded up.
it has SO many packets from Cydia and Installius .
i wasnt the one who did this. wife met guy on facebook claiming he can jailbreak so THEY did this while i was at work. my iphone is jailbroke, she wanted hers done and as i told her- mine was 3gs- i knew how to do it because i sat down read your site and then used what modmyi said- and Greenpois0n and Redsn0w workes well. and so far NO installius- havent even figured out how to get it.
now - im not slow just havent figured out how to use your site or how to pay for certain things i want.
and need help unbreaking my wifes 3g so i can break it the proper way using greenpois0n.

also- your site has a wealth of knowledge but im missing something.
i downloaded cyder 2- snagged packets- never could get them to my phone. same thing with Xilisoft and iphone emulator.
WHAT AM I MISSING.
ID LOVE TO PURCHASE THE RIGHT SOFTWARE TO BE ABLE TO DL PACKETS FROM CYDIA, PLACE THEM ON MY PHONES AND THEN BE DONE WITH IT. SIMPLE AND EASY.
CYDER HAS 7 DLs I JUST DONT KNOW HOW TO GET THEM TO MY PHONE. AND THE HELP DOESNT ACTUALLY HELP IT CONFUSES MORE.
IM NOT TRYING TO LEARN A TRADE OR DO THIS FOR A LIVING- IM JUST TRYING RIGHT NOW TO GET MY WIFE OFFA MY *** CUZ MY 3GS LOOKS SWEETER THAN HERS (EVEN THOUGH I WANT iSWERVE) AND SHES ON MY ***.
HELP PLEASE.
I DONT HAVE PAYPAL. GOT PLASTIC BUT I DONT TRUST PAYPAL OR MUCH ONLINE TRAFFIC OF MY $$$.
I WILL BUY INTO MODMYI IF I HAVE TO - JUST GET THE HELP, ASSITANCE AND A LIL RESPECT IN DOING SO.

First off welcome to the boards.

Keep in mind you should never have to pay someone to jailbreak yr phone. There are tons of reference material on our site, check the wiki for starters.

Unfortunately you asked a lot, and technically what you are asking for spans on a few of our different forums. First thing first, are both of your phones not working or just your wifes? I'm assuming they are both on AT&T? Either way its not a problem and we'll get them working again. If itunes doesnt even recognize your phone to back it up then we'll have to do a restore by putting it into DFU mode. then youll be able to have your phone back to how it was when you bought it.

Before we worry about how to purchase themes and apps from cydia lets get your phones working first.

Heres the jailbreaking forum which has a ton of helpful members that can help you jailbreak your phone for free.
