^ it a custom build bike by Titan, Harley style but no harley parts. S&S motor, Jims 6 speed trans etc.

Titian went out of business about 4 years ago. They were based here in Phoenix. Mine is an '06 with only 4000 ish miles on it. Usually only ride it a few months a year when it's cooler. This is prime riding season here now.

That looks like a Harley engine and it looks like a hardtail!
It's been a long, long time since I knew anything about motorbikes.

It's a V-Twin, like a Harley motor, but it's a S&S motor. 93 c.i. rocket ship. It is a softail for sure, Look by the rear tire, no shock. It's a mono shock softail.

Excuse my ignorance, I've not heard of S&S ( do I remember them making air filters when I was younger?)

How is that soft tail? explain, please.

Mono shock on a swing arm. On softail motorcycles, the shock absorbers or springs are hidden underneath out of view to give the appearance of a hard-tail or rigid frame. It just for the look and also rides so much better.
    S&S motors.

Haha, your not old buddy. My dad still rides and he is 68 years young.

Rode again today. A gluten for punishment I guess. This time I used a Sun block, so no more sunburn.
Dang, I love this time of year in AZ. 88 degrees and awesome.
Next time we ride I'll have to remember to take some pics of our biker gang, 2 chicks and 4 guys riding the canyons.
No helmet law here either. I know, I know. I do wear a half helmet sometimes (not often though), but love the freedom to choose and the wind in my hair.
