Maybe their sinking games to get a decent position in the draft. If playoffs started today (I know it's waaay early for this kind of talk) they wouldn't even be in it. Figure a 66 game season is a lot easier to tank then a full 82.
Doubt that's what's going on but hey, I gotta justify it somehow

He better start playing well or he'll end up somewhere else after the season. It's his own fault though for wanting out of LA after the trade didn't go down.

I'm pretty confident that even if he does start playing better he will be gone after the season is over. As much as I dislike the moves we've made this year, it definitely does set us up to be able to make a major move come the post season.

nah pretty sure dallas will resign him, they only have to cover like 3 mil of his option or something ridiculous like that.

Even still, I think he'd be more of a sign and trade. In terms of dollars, he'd be a bargain to some of the teams with big starts that are looking to go elsewhere.

hes a decent trade asset, guess it will depend on who they can sign in the off season, I was confused at why they picked him up as well as why the lakers gave him to dallas of all teams.

I'm still confused at that move. I wouldnt have traded him. I dont care how upset he was. Make him honor his contract.

Odom has a team option for $8.2 mil. I doubt Dallas picks it up.

Can't sign and trade in the new CBA starting after this season.

I forgot where I read it, but I read that Dallas only has to pay $2-3 mil of Odom's option if they keep him, with the Lakers having to pay the rest. Maybe that was about something else, but I am almost positive of that. It would still be reflected on their cap I would assume though.

Clips were on their game tonight. Griffins dunk over Perkins was crazy.

It was a good dunk but he barely touched the rim. Lot's of people were saying it was better than Lebron's dunk the other night but that's just hate. Lebron jumping over Lucas was sick!!!

It was the extension on the dunk that made it look sick. Like he gave it a extra wrap around when he felt the contact from Perk.

I mean I liked it. But I think it was over-hyped. I thought lebron's was better. Just my opinion.

Lebrons was crazy too. He pretty much cleared that guy. I mean he was a short guy but still.

Meh, I'll still take replays of Carter's dunk over that French dude instead of those any day.

Carter's dunk over that French guy was outta this world. His dunks in the 2000 NBA dunk contest were awesome too. He's the best dunker of all-time IMO.

you know after watching that dunk again, if I was coaching that game I would have benched him. You risk turning it over, missing from the contact, or even getting injured while having three teammates sitting in much better position to score. It was one of the most selfish plays I have ever seen. Now that that is said, HOLY **** WTF HOW SICK WAS THAT!!!

2000 dunk contest was one of the best if not the best ever.
