I think it may actually help the other teams. Too many NBA teams as it is IMO.

Idk if they should move them there.. if they ended up deciding to allow two more teams I wouldn't be surprised if Chicago was one of the first they brought up, maybe Seattle again if they had the money.

I doubt tht if the team moves to chicago that it will gather fans. Chicago love the bulls. It will take awhile for the new team to have its own fans

The Magic took Howard off the trading block. They'll probably start talking as the season goes on.

As for the Lakers, I don't know why they traded Odom for just a pick. They had to trade Odom because he was pissed but some other team would have given more than a pick and a trade exception.

What burns me the most about that Odom trade is who they traded him to. Embarrassed by the Mavs last year and you give them Odom in return? Doesnt make sense to me.
