So glad the Lakers lost. I wish someone from the Mavs would have gotten in Bynum's face. Gotta protect your teammates.

No need. They just let the score speak for them.

It's not about their past success. it's about not even being competitive in the playoffs.

I disagree. If someone takes a cheap shot like Bynum did, I think you gotta at least give him a shove. Too bad Chandler was on the bench.

Shows how gutless the Mavs are. I hope they get swept by the Griz.

Or at least say something. They just took it.

I wouldnt say they werent competitive. This could very easily be 2-2 right now. A couple bad and weird mistakes in the final minutes of games 1 and 3 caused this.

I don't know. Horrible execution in the final minutes was on this unfocused team.

It's the same way with the spurs. I can't stand soft teams. I want a warrior.

I can agree with that. Biggest thing I miss from this team is being able to throw it down like a man. Shaq used to do that all the time. Back his man up and dunk it right through the guy. Bynum and Gasol are always laying the ball up like panzies. Irritates me.

Exactly. It's alright to have soft players as long as the team has a couple of in your face type of players. The Mavs clearly lack those players.

Most teams do. Mavs are lead by soft *** Dirk

I've never understood this view on Dirk. Everyone declared that he should have done something when he was horse collared, but he didn't. He kept his composure and took it to them with a 33 & 11 performance. That's simply the view our country has about everything though. Violence/aggression is not equivalent to being tough.

There's no reason to get in a fight, we have a long way to go. For the lakers a technical means nothing as their post season is over, but the Mavs still have two more rounds to go and can't risk carrying unnecessary Ts with them into the WCF.

I'm not saying he needs to throw a punch and get a tech or ejected. But when a smaller teammate is pushed to the ground, you walk over and say something.

I don't see what effect that is going to have. I believe a 36 point routing to sweep the Lakers for the first time since 1999 sends much more of a message to the defending champs than any confrontation would.

Dont be offended. I have the same issue with Tim and the Spurs. I like to see teammates standing up for each other is all.

Surprisingly I'm not to down about LA, would of been nice to 3-peat(again) but they gave me plenty of awesome moments the past few years. Kobe's 61 points in the Garden, Fishers big 3 against Orlando, Ron's put back against Phoenix to win the game. Game 7 of the Finals which had me on edge the entire way. It was a good run for them no doubt about it.....I don't think it's the last solid run they have either, we'll see em' again soon.
