God I hate Carlisle.
And Barnes reminded me exactly why he is a POS.

I've felt that way about Dirk for ages now... Terry choked in a big game, what's new.
The reason I blame Carlisle is because it is a consistent pattern. He continues to play and go to players regardless of how crappy of a night they're having. If it was a once in a while thing I wouldn't blame Carlisle, but he never seems to right the ship. It's the same with his lack of control/coaching of Barea. He let's the midget run around and throw up any shot he wants as if he's DWade. When it works, great. But when it's obviously not working, you have to step up and actually do some coaching.

I never understood it. Dirk can be solid and hit everything but Mavs will keep running plays for someone else.

Yup, I pointed out to my dad at the start of the third when the lakers finally started pulling away that Carlisle doesn't understand that you are supposed to use a player of Dirks caliber as your go to guy rather than letting 2 or 3 lower players try and create shots on their own.
I almost feel the same with Peja, they got him for a reason so why not capitalize on it. They/Carlisle constantly fail to capitalize on players when they are hot. They always let the player develop his rhythm and then choose another course of action immediately after.

I have the same complaints of Pop. He lets his man-love for a player over rule common sense

I thought if they could stay in striking distance, they would have a chance. Terry is a choke artist

Spurs seem really out of it. Well it was the first game back for Duncan. We will know what's up tonight against Houston.

They just dropped their 6th in a row. This team is in free fall meltdown mode. I have no words. Manu went from All-Star to a liability on the floor. They make bone head decisions and seem to have no heart. Total meltdown. I have no idea.

Skip Bayless makes a decent point that both Spurs and Celtics played very physical last night then had to fly and play rested home teams. Both Celts and Spurs lose.
However, I am tired of the excuses
