I can however ssh into it and was wondering if i could turn on an alarm or something through a command. If not i guess that ill just have to try harder. Thank You.

Don't know about being able to trigger it through SSH... Call your phone? Or look harder lol, I think you're out of luck with SSHing.

Yeah i guess i am just going to have to look harder. I also find it funny that i can still ssh into it. That does make me feel better that i know that it is not lost somewhere other than my house. Thanks anyway. I guess you can close this thread.

Okay so i just had a thought, i have a passcode on it and if it is connected to a different wifi network would i still be able to ssh into it. The reason is because i think it may be at my cousins house and it is connected to their wifi as well as mine.

No, you would only be able to SSH into it if it is on your network.

Yes, the problem is that it is on silent and i made it so it wouldnt vibrate too. I looked at the veency and it looks like it would work if i turned on music or something, but i didnt know that i would lose it and just learned about it right now so i dont know what to do and i cant get a new phone until my contract ends next may.

There has to be a way to tell the iphone to play music I would think. I know you can reboot the phone and launch apps using a SSH command, not sure what playing music would be

Sorry not really my field of expertise. I don't use SSH or command line very often.

Maybe you should ask how to do this on twitter to some of the iPhone devs. Maybe Erica Sadun since she is mentioned on that other thread.
