    Default Dodge MyGig

Has anyone here ever heard anything about "jailbreaking" these?

I've googled a good bit, but can't find anything newer that 2007 that all seems kinda like a dead end.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

Yea, I googled this too and seems to be just a media device in the Dodges. So not sure how to jailbreak(hack) that.

    De dum tsscchh.

They also make (or include in their vehicles) a touch screen media device with a 20gb hard drive that can be used to play DVDs and store mp3s on.

There are restrictions on video playback while driving (obviously) but also playing any video files apart from the current dvd. Custom themes would be nice, playing media (audio and video) from a usb stick would be nice too. Especially on my 11 hour drive to NYC soon.

There are some pretty sharp minds in this community, and I'm sure anyone who drives a Chrysler vehicle (or gets driven by their mom) with a MyGig system has looked at their jailbroken iPhone and looked at their car and thought there could be something done about it.

Thanks Cer0. I'm sure if there is anyone here with any real knowledge about it, it'll pop up soon.

    Try this forum:

Lots of current info on the MyGig. The closest thing to a jailbreak would be the "Lockpick". That will enable a lot of unavailable features, including video in motion, and rear-view camera on demand.
