math help...
ok soo i know this is kinda random but i dont know where to begin in looking this up so hopefully you guys know how to solve it.. i used to know how to solve these problems but its been so long since i was last in math class i completely forgot how to set up the problem.
here it is
a farmer buys 100 animals for 100$ the animals include at least one cow, one pig and one chicken, but no other kind. if a cow costs 10$ a pig costs 3$ and a chicken costs .50$, how many of each did he buy?
any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks guys

AFAIK if you actually think about it, there could be multiple answers to this problem bc 20 chickens = 1 cow and 6 chickens = 1 pig.

Yea but 20 chickens does not equal 1 cow, 6 chickens and 1 pig.
20 =! 6+1+1
They are only allowed 100 animals.

Iz know how to work google.
My buddy was the math genius so I would always cheat off him growing up lol. Or I would have him explain the problems to me since the teachers sucked at teaching certain things.
