Got Metal Gear Rising the other day. Went to fire it up Monday night and of course PS3 forcing me to do updates first. Do the updates then screen goes black, nothing happening. Tried resetting, full power off, different hdmi cable, different hdmi slot, nothing worked. Thought my PS3 had finally kicked the bucket. Found the regular vga cord yesterday and went to try it out and all of a sudden it was working fine again on hdmi. Very odd. Finally got to play the game and it's pretty awesome. Takes a while to get used to the combat but well worth it.

Huge fan of the Metal Gear series. Currently playing MGS2.

This one is like a Ninja Gaiden version of Metal Gear. Not much sneaking around.

Ya. I believe he was main character in MGS2 as well right? Been a while since I played that one.

Yup. You start off as Solid and then you play as Raiden.
