If you don't play EVE, Bubble is an anti warp sphere. Without it, the Titan would have been able to spool up it's drives and escape.

So again, in a situation they found themselves in, within a real chance of actually blowing up an enemy ship worth THOUSADS of real life dollars, you're damn right they were yelling bubble non-stop

They're more common now, but Titans like that one and the first one made (yes, ships need to be researched and manufactured by players. Almost the entirety of the EVE economy is player ruined) take months of preparations by dozens of people. You also need to keep your shipyard a secret, fiercely protect it, and make sure NOONE finds out.

EVE Online isn't your typical MMO. There's no hand holding and the learning curve is absolutely brutal and unforgiving.

Yea EVE economic news makes it into all the tech sites.

Yep remember reading about the titan being taken down.

I play every year or so. Don't have any corp but never played enough to get around to anything special.

And it is not a normal MMO. The developers do not hold your hand or help anyone out. If you are getting griefed it is a big "so what" to them. That is the way the universe works.

The range of things is massive. You can be a simple miner, a pirate, a warp-gate gaurdian, CEO of a Corp, a mole attempting to steal secrets from another corp by working your way into them, practically anything. It takes work in the EVE universe and is not a sit down and get max level and end game content MMO.

Oh yeah, things like scamming, stealing and corporate infiltration and espionage is not only allowed, but encouraged.

There was a story a couple of years back oh how this guy scammed a couple hundred millions worth of isk (in-game currency). Look up "the great scam" That's eve online and it's why it's the best MMO out there.

Eh, that will get you destroyed on higher play. You want mechs against zergs and ghosts for protoss.

Terran vs Terran is a game of "who outturtles who" and I hate playing them.

The most unbelievable thing happened! I was playing Killing Floor and got stuck in a specific part of KF_Swamp, unable to get out unfortunately. When the Patriarch came, he wiped out my teammates. After a long period of shooting, I'd killed him. I would have failed without my teammate's locations.
